Ironman Copenhagen 2014 – Race Report...

The thought of doing an Ironman doesn’t enter the world of most sane people, for me it’s a test of endurance that has me gripped and challenges every inch of me every time I attempt it. So just to challenge myself once more, in fact for the 15th time, I settled on Ironman Copenhagen, billed as a fast course the race had been taken over by WTC the previous year in the ongoing cat and mouse dick waving contest between IRONMAN and Challenge brands. Welcome to the start of a year of training in the hope of PB’ing at IM Copenhagen in August 2014. It will be a long process (about a year really 🙂 ) but one I hope to improve gradually and stay injury free, make sure I get quality time with the family and balance a reasonably hectic job.
