With a wedding to go to on the Sunday and no chance to train I decided to get my long ride in Saturday which meant an early start, to be honest we are still very lucky in the North West with the weather and I seem to be making the most of the time we have before the big freeze sets in. Training Review Week 14/10/13

My first week of nearly 100% completion was spurred on by me signing up with a new coach, Chris Standidge. Change of direction in terms of the sessions I will be doing and gearing up to get fit and I hope to lose a few pounds to get me moving faster and enjoying what I am doing. Focus has moved to running and making time for the days I have away from home. Training Review Week 07/10/13

Well, week 4 of the ‘getting started’ was a better week in terms of days training but the load was still low, I planned a full week but left out the main run on the Saturday to make time for family as Kelly is slowly coming to terms with the training and how we fit in together. I haven’t set myself any targets in terms of testing yet but this will come, I have at least a swim CSS to record, a CP20 on the bike and a timed 10k to work out training efforts and intensities, I am sure this will all happen before Xmas.
